Alexander Galtchansky (1959-2008) and Tanya Wissotzky (1959-2006) were born in Crimea, formerly part of the USSR. Their artistic journeys began at art schools, with Galtchansky studying in Dnepropetrovsk and Wissotzky in Simferopol. They both continued their education at the Kiev Institute of Arts. Wissotzky focused on painting, while Galtchansky specialized in book illustration. Their work has been exhibited at notable venues such as Art Expo in New York, BLD New York, Galaxy Gallery in Gothenburg, Sweden, Geissing Design Institution in Hamburg, Germany, and Binyanei Hauma in Jerusalem.
