NAO By Lladro "Hungry Goose" Vintage Home/Office Collectible Statue Figurine

This spectacular NAO by Lladro "Hungry Goose" "Ganso Hambriento" vintage statue figurine. It was first introduced in 1978 and retired in 1979. It's from the Youth collection. NAO pieces were first introduced in 1968 in Valencia Spain. The pieces are usually simpler and in a modest design. This stunning piece is about a young girl that's holding a basket with food inside of it. Along her path she meets a friendly yet hungry goose begging for food. She shows kindness and is glad to share her food. Her face is sublime. She has light brown hair and wearing a long sleeve white blouse, beige long skirt, white a head scarf and button-down blue vest. She's looking down at the goose. This piece is hand-made and hand painted with a glazed finish. It was created with a glazed finish. It measures 10" tall 4" wide and 4" deep. It's in excellent condition no chips or cracks. No original box. Last known original retail price is $225.00.
