Vintage Josef Original Flocked Bluebirds Music Box That Plays "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" From the Wizard Of Oz. Beautiful animated bluebird music box playing "Over the Rainbow". Baby bird rotates and moves up and down and reaches for the red berry in the mommy birds mouth as the music plays. The birds are flocked and sitting in a basket with their mom sitting in a tree with berries. Realistic green grass base with little flowers. Has the round Josef Originals Japan George Good label on the bottom.
This music box measures 6 3/8" high x 5" in diameter and is in good pre-owned condition free of any chips or cracks. The music box does work and the little bird bobs up and down and spins perfectly. There is a little wear one side of the base. Please see all pictures for condition. A beautiful music box perfect to put on display or make a wonderful gift.
