Vintage Scottish Wallace Clan Family Crest Brooch "Sperandum Est"
This vintage brooch represents the Scottish Clan of Wallace family crest which is of an Ostrich holding a horseshoe. It says "Sperandum Est" which means "It is to be hoped". This is their official crest. The most famous member of Clan Wallace is William Wallace who was famous for his role as a knight in the first Scottish war of independence.
